Liaoning University successfully signed a publishing agreement with the world-renowned publisher Springer in September 2022. Digital Economy and Sustainable Development (DESD), which is the first international social sciences journal founded by Liaoning University, will be published by Springer. The journal is under administration of Li Anmin Institute of Economic Research of Liaoning University.

Springer is one of the world’s biggest science and technology publishers, many of whose journals are included into SSCI. It is DESD’s aim to build a leading platform for exchanges on digital economy and high quality development, and strive for becoming an SSCI journal. The journal’s Editor in Chief is Prof. YAO Shujie, Dean of Li Anmin Institute of Economic Research. Its editorial board includes world famous experts and scholars from home and abroad.

As the digital economy is promoting profound changes in production, lifestyles and governance, green innovation, sustainable inclusive growth, and high-quality development will play a dominant role in world economic development. DESD will take the lead in focusing on interdisciplinary research of digital economy and high-quality development. The journal will be published in January 2023. We welcome domestic and international experts and scholars to contribute to the journal and build a high-level international journal with Chinese characteristics together.
