Professor Lin Muxi is a senior professor of Liaoning University and the dean of the National Economic Research Institute at Liaoning University. He is a distinguished professor and a ‘leading talent’ of the National Talent Plan, He is also one of the first National Teaching Masters, one of the first batch of ‘teaching masters’ of the National Talent Plan and one of the first batch of National Model Teachers. Professor Lin Muxi is also one of the first batch of leaders of the national college Huang Danian style teacher team, a winner of the first National Textbook Construction award, a winner of the first National Higher Education (graduate) teaching achievement award and is a ‘national exemplary individual’. Additionally, he is a Member of the Applied Economics Group of the 6th and 7th Discipline Evaluation Groups of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, and an expert of the Discipline Planning Evaluation Group of the National Social Science Foundation.
Professor Lin Muxi is a recipient of the State Council Government Special Allowance, is chief expert of the Major Project of Philosophy and Social Research of the Ministry of Education, a recipient of the National Teaching Achievement Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Higher Education (Humanities and Social Sciences), and the first dean of the School of Economics at Liaoning University.
Professor Lin Muxi is currently the director of the Northeast Revitalization Research Center of Liaoning University, namely the ‘Chinese Think Tank Index Source’. He is the head of the Liaoning University Economics Top Student Training Base of the ‘National Basic Discipline Top Student Training Plan 2.0 Base’ and the head of Liaoning University Economics and National Economic Management of the ‘National first-class undergraduate major construction point’.
Professor Lin Muxi has long engaged in teaching and researching national, regional and political economics, and has written extensively on the transformation and revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China. He has made positive contributions to major national strategies and serving local needs. His main research achievements have been approved by party and national leaders, as well as major leaders of provincial and municipal party committees and governments. Some achievements have been adopted by relevant government departments and enterprises, resulting in positive economic and social benefits.
