Prof. WANG Ximan

Prof. WANG Ximan was born in 1981. He is a Ph.D. in Law and a doctoral supervisor. He conducted his post doctorate research in Theoretical Economics and Marxist Theory, and is currently Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism, and Academic Leader on Party Building.


Prof. WANG Ximan is Top Notch Talent of national talent projects, Philosophy and Social Sciences Leading Talent awarded by the provincial project “Elite Talents for Liaoning Revitalization”, Top Hundred Talents of the provincial project “Millions of Talent Projects”, Outstanding Young Talent in Ideological and Political Education of Liaoning Province and Leading Talent of Shenyang. He is also lecturer group member of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, Vice President of the Liaoning CPC History Figure Institute, Researcher on Special Invitations of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Central China Normal University. He is awarded as an excellent member of the Communist Party of China and selected into the Working Studio for Outstanding Teachers of ideological and political courses in higher institutions of Liaoning Province. 


Prof. WANG Ximan has presided over more than 20 programs, including key programs of the National Social Science Fund, programs for young scholars, sub topic of the Key Project to Study and Develop Marxist Theory, and sub topic of the Key Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences under the Ministry of Education. He obtained special funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He published over 100 papers on journals such as “Studies on Marxism”, “Social Sciences Abroad”, “Contemporary World and Socialism”, “Socialism Studies” and “Scientific Socialism”, and published over 10 books, two of which were included into Key Books for Publishing stipulated by “the 12thFive-Year Plan” of China. He submitted more than 10 consultation papers for the Central Government, among which two were instructed by governors at national level. His achievements won Second and Third Prizes for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research respectively of the 7th and 8thScientific Research Award of Higher Institutions organized by the Ministry of Education, Second Prize of the ideology category under Countermeasures and Information of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, First and Second Prizes issued by the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government.
