Prof. LI Zheng is currently serving as the Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Economics of Liaoning University. He has been selected into Support Program for New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education and is an expert who enjoys special government allowances from the State Council. He has appointed as a member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, Vice President of China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association, a member of State Economy Research Think Tank Committee of Chinese Academy of Social Science, Special Researcher of Contemporary Chinese Marxist Political Economy Innovation Think Tank of Chinese Academy of Social Science, one of the first group of appointed researchers of Hainan Provincial State-owned Property Research Institute, and Chairman of Jilin Provincial “Das Kapital” Research Association. He has served as the Deputy Dean of the School of Economics of Jilin University, Director of China Center for Public Sector Economy Research at Jilin University, and Assistant to the President of Jilin University of Finance and Economics (a temporary position). His main research areas are state economy, innovation economy and revitalizing northeast China. He has presided over one major project, two key projects and one general project of National Social Science Fund, two major projects of Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Science of the Ministry of Education, as well as more than 40 horizontal and vertical cross-projects. He has published more than 150 academic papers in domestic and overseas newspaper and journals such as People’s Daily (Theory Edition), Guangming Daily (Theory Edition), Management World, as well as more than 20 monographs and textbooks, and many papers were reprinted in full by Xinhua Digest and China Social Science Digest. He has won many awards such as the second prize of Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award in Colleges and Universities, the first prize of Jilin Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award and has rewards as the honorary title of Baogang Outstanding Teacher Award.
