Prof. WANG Dehui was born in January, 1969. He is a Ph.D. in Statistics, and a doctoral supervisor. He is currently the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics of Liaoning University, an expert who enjoys the Special Allowance of the State Council, a “new century outstanding talent” of the Ministry of Education, a winner of Baosteel Excellent Teacher Award, a “distinguished professor” of Jilin Changbai Mountain Scholar Award Program, the fourth batch of senior experts in Jilin Province, the sixth batch of top-notch innovative talents in Jilin Province, the twelfth batch of young and middle-aged professional and technical talents with outstanding contributions in Jilin Province, and the seventh batch of outstanding experts in Changchun City. He is also a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Statistics Major of the Ministry of Education, the Vice Chairman of the National Industrial Statistics Teaching Research Association, the Executive Director of the China Field Statistics Research Association, the Vice Chairman of the Environmental and Resource Statistics Branch, a member of the editorial board of the journal Mathematical Statistics and Management andStatistics and Decision.  

At present, he is mainly engaged in time series analysis, risk theory analysis and actuarial research. He has published more than 50 papers in SCI, presided over six general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and participated in two programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including one key program. He won one special fund for doctoral programs, the Second Prize of “2015 Outstanding Achievement Award of Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Science and Technology) by Natural Science of the Ministry of Education”, the “Eleventh National Outstanding Achievement Award of Statistical Research”, and the Second Prize of Jilin Science and Technology Award (Natural Science) in 2019.
