Professor LIANG Fushun, born in November 1970, doctoral supervisor, a selectee of Program for New Century Excellent Talents in Universities of Ministry of Education, and a leading scholar of Liaoning Provincial Rejuvenation Talents Program.

His research orientation focuses on luminescent material, visible-light photocatalysis and industrial gas separation. Scientific research interests mainly lie in new reaction, new material development and new concepts building. Professor LIANG has made plenty of innovative achievements in the field of photoelectric material, visible-light photocatalysis and organic synthetic methods.

Plus，he has made following academic contributions, such as putting forward to use d-p bond to prolong the lifetime of organic room temperature phosphorescence, developing new concept of anion relay chemistry, acquiring broad spectrum and strong absorption photoactive materials covering UV-Visible-NIR, developing new method of heterocyclic structure promoted by visible light, and for the first time proposing and demonstrating that the halogen bonding activated N-haloimide can be used as animation reagent.

He’s already published more than 70 academic papers in top and internationally-renowned chemistry journals, including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Chemical Communications, Organic Letters and Adv. Synth. Catal. Besides, he has completed 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 6 provincial-ministerial academic projects. He has been invited to Japan’s Waseda University and Yamagata for academic exchange for 5 times. Earlier, Professor LIANG has been respectively awarded scholarship from Japan Society for Promotion of Science and The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Also, he’s been the winner of the first prize of Natural Sciences Outstanding Academic Achievement Award of Jilin Province and the second prize of Natural Sciences Outstanding Academic Achievement Award of Liaoning Province.
