Prof. Sun Guangsheng was born in January, 1971. He is a doctor of management science, and is currently teaching in the Department of Industrial Economics of School of Economics, Liaoning University.

     His main research directions are total factor productivity and economic growth, industrial efficiency evaluation, industrial development and environmental governance. He has published many articles as the first author in journals such as Social Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, China Economic Quarterly, China Industrial Economics, The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics and China Soft Science, and published two monographs (including one co-authored work). Some of his articles have been translated by Social Science in China and reprinted in full. He has presided over one youth project of The National Social Science Fund of China, two projects of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, one New Century Excellent Talents Project of Ministry of Education, and one Humanities and Social Sciences Project of Ministry of Education. His scientific research achievements have won many awards including the Third Prize of Liaoning Philosophy and Social Sciences (of the Government) Award twice. In 2013, he was selected into the special program launched by the Ministry of Education named “Supporting Program for New Century Excellent Talents in Universities”.
