Professor Song Baoyan was born in July 1965. She is a professor in the secondary level, a doctoral supervisor, and is currently serving as dean of the College of Information at Liaoning University. In addition to being an expert who obtains special allowance from the State Council, Prof. Song is an outstanding teacher in Liaoning, an outstanding postdoctoral supervisor in Liaoning, a leading talent in Shenyang, a member of the Technical Committee on Database of China Computer Federation (CCF), a member of the Technical Committee on Information System of CCF, the director of the Key Lab of Public Opinion and Network Security in Liaoning, and the deputy director of Engineering Research Center for Coal Disaster Prediction in Liaoning.
Prof. Song has been engaged in research on database technology, with her main fields being technology of database processing, graph data processing, and data flow processing. She has presided over 10 national and provincial projects and subjects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China project, National 863/CIMS Subject, National Key Research Plan Subject, and projects relating to the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Fund and Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology. Prof. Song has won two second prizes at the National Science and Technology Progress Awards, one second prize at the Metallurgy Science and Technology Progress Awards, one second prize at the Science and Technology Awards for China Coal Industry, one third prize at the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, one first prize and one third prize at the Liaoning Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards, and one second prize and two third prizes at the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Achievement Awards. She has published over a hundred papers in domestic and foreign journals with academic seniors, many of which are included in SCI, EI, and ISTP.
