Professor Wang Weiguang (male) was born in 1970. Prof. Wang has a Ph.D. in economics and a postdoctoral degree in management, and he serves as a second-level professor and a doctoral supervisor. He is an expert receiving special government allowance from the State Council, as well as a leading talent of the Liaoning Revitalization Talent Program in Philosophy and Social Science, an Outstanding Teacher of Liaoning Province, and an Outstanding Undergraduate Teacher of Liaoning Province. Prof. Wang is currently serving as the director of the Teaching Affairs Department and the Undergraduate Teaching Evaluation Center while also serving as the member of the Liaoning Committee of Jiu San Society, a deputy director of the Shenyang Committee of Jiu San Society and the Shenyang Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Decision-Making Advisory Committee of Liaoning Provincial Government, an executive director of the Chinese Institute of Business Administration, and a director of the China Society of Industry Economics and the Chinese Society of Technology Economics. His research focus on industrial innovation and policy, high-tech enterprises, and digital economy and governance. Prof. Wang has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Technology Innovation, Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Innovation Economics, and Topics in Technology Innovation Management. He has presided over one major project of the National Soft Science Program, four projects of the National Natural and Science Foundation, two projects of the National Social Science Fund, one project of the Asian Development Bank Program, one project of the Ministry of Education, one project of Huaxia Talent Fund, and fifty-two projects of the Department of Technology and Science, and the Department of Education of Liaoning Province. Prof. Wang has written five monographs and academic textbooks, respectively, and has published 60 papers in national journals such as Management World, Chinese Industry Economics, and Economic Research. Moreover, Prof. Wang won first prize at the Outstanding Achievement Awards in Philosophy and Social Science, second prize at the Technology and Science Progress Awards of Liaoning Province, first prize at the Teaching Achievement Awards of Liaoning Province, and has received a First-Class Courses Award.
