Professor HUO Chunhui

Huo Chunhui is a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee, Vice President of Liaoning University, and is a professor and doctoral supervisor. Prof. Huo also is Vice Chairman of the Chinese Institute of Business Administration, Vice Chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Association of European and American Alumni, a member of the American Management Association, Vice Chairman of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of Experts on Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education, and Vice President and Executive President of the Liaoning branch of the Fudan University Postdoctoral Alumni Association. While at Fudan University, Prof. Huo worked for three years at its Postdoctoral Station of the School of Management, and he then was fully funded by the China Scholarship Council to be a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California. Moreover, he has been invited as a visiting scholar to Stanford University in the U.S., Kansai University in Japan, and Victoria University in Australia.

Prof. Huo is among those listed in Liaoning’s “Rising Talent” Program, along with being recognized by the Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project of Liaoning Province (being among the top hundred), the Leading Talents of Shenyang City, the Excellent Talents Support Program of Liaoning Province (first level), the Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers of Liaoning Province. Additionally, he has been awarded several honorary titles, including Outstanding Communist Party Member of Liaoning Province, Outstanding Communist Party Member of Higher Education Institutions in Liaoning Province, Outstanding Teacher of Liaoning Province, Outstanding Teacher of the Cadre Education System in Liaoning Province, Excellent Supervisor for Postgraduate Students of Liaoning Province, May Fourth Medal of Shenyang City, Outstanding Graduate Supervisor of Shenyang City, and others.

For many years Prof. Huo has been engaged in research relating to the fields of strategic management, marketing management, and innovation management. He has published over 100 academic papers in SSCI, SCI, and other English core journals, as well as contributing work to domestic core journals and newspapers such as Academic Monthly, Guangming Daily (Theoretical Edition), and Xinhua Digest. These papers have been reprinted in full by numerous mainstream websites, including the copy database of Renming University, People.cn, QSTheory.cn, and Xinhuanet. Prof. Huo has completed 14 academic monographs and translated works, and he has hosted and participated in more than 50 research projects, most notably the National Social Science Fund Project. His advisory proposals have received instructive feedback from provincial-level leaders, and for his efforts Prof. Huo has been awarded more than 20 provincial-level and municipal-level first and second prizes.
