Abstract:Nowadays, ecological problems have become a social problem that has a significant impact on global development. Since ancient times, Japan has been a country that loves and worshipping nature, and traditional ecological consciousness has been integrated into the blood and bones and become part of daily life. Moreover, it also plays a positive role in promoting the ecological construction of the country. It can be seen that the development of modern society is inseparable from the excellent thoughts and wisdom of the ancients. Drawing nutrients from it and combining with the development needs of modern society, it is urgent to build a socialist ecological civilization in the new era. This paper takes classical Japanese literature as an example to analyze the ecological thoughts contained in classical literature, and aims to explore the reference significance of the development of Japanese ecological literature for the construction of modern ecological civilization in our country.
