Abstract: The modernization thought of harmonious coexistence between man and nature is the essential requirement of Chinese modernization put forward by the Communist Party of China based on the dynamic understanding of the relationship between man and nature, and the value purview of the Communist Party of China leading the people to promote the construction of ecological civilization. It points out the direction of Chinese modernization in the three dimensions of theory, practice and history. However, in the process of realizing the modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, our country is still faced with many problems such as dissimilation of the relationship between man and nature, shortcomings in laws and regulations, deviation of ideological understanding and so on, which restricts our country's continuous promotion of ecological civilization. Therefore, we should continue to explore the path of ecological civilization practice, from the nature, society and the interconnected development of the two levels to find a way to achieve the symbiotic cause of relief, towards a new era of socialist ecological civilization.
