Research on influencing factors of manufacturing transformation and upgrading

Abstract: Influenced by the external economic and technological environment and the changes in China's economic development stage, the development of China's manufacturing industry has been challenged by unprecedented challenges, transformation and upgrading has become an inevitable choice for enterprises to innovate and develop. This paper uses the grey correlation analysis model to make an empirical analysis of the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry from 2014 to 2018. The results show that the transformation and upgrading level of China's manufacturing industry is generally on the rise. Technological innovation and structural optimization are the two factors that have the greatest impact on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, followed by resource conservation, integration of the two, marketing mode and environmental protection. Scientific and technological innovation is the core driving force to promote the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry. On this basis, this paper puts forward policy suggestions to further promote the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry, such as increasing technological innovation support, accelerating industrial structure adjustment, improving the constraint mechanism of resource conservation and environmental protection, creating a financing service platform for transformation and upgrading, and continuously optimizing the intellectual property environment.
