Abstract: With the development of the economy and society, the number of environmental pollution incidents is increasing, which has received widespread attention from the society, and the causes of environmental infringement disputes are complex, and the laws and regulations on environmental protection public interest litigation in China are still relatively scattered, lacking systematic and imperfect relevant legislation, which makes it very difficult for people to seek judicial remedies in actual life. In addition, due to the particularity of environmental infringement and the immaturity of the operating mechanism, it is impossible to give full play to the role of the public interest litigation system for environmental infringement protection.
