Abstract: Under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the treatment of greenhouse gases is particularly important. Due to the natural properties of greenhouse gases, such as fluidity and spillover, the traditional single-treatment and end-treatment methods cannot effectively deal with regional environmental problems caused by greenhouse gas emissions. The regional collaborative governance mechanism is a "good medicine" for regional environmental problems, which can reduce the cost waste caused by secondary governance and realize the global optimization of atmospheric environment. At present, China's regional collaborative governance mechanism still has some realistic difficulties in the process of greenhouse gas prevention and control. In order to solve the difficulties and give better play to the advantages of the mechanism, it is necessary to improve the existing regional collaborative governance mechanism of greenhouse gas, in order to successfully complete the "double carbon" governance task.
