Abstract: Water pollution and scarcity of water resources have reduced the function of water environment, and the situation of water environment safety is very serious. By studying the pollution situation and causes of water resources in Liaoning, it is proposed that in the transformation and construction of old industrial bases, improving the awareness of water environment safety and implementing the scientific concept of development are important measures to realize the strategy of sustainable development.
