Abstract: The development of people’s livelihood in our country has obtained remarkable achievements since the founding of New China. The paper proposes to always put the interests of the people in the first place, consolidate the economic foundation of people's livelihood construction, promote the institutionalization and standardization of people's livelihood construction and so on by analyzing the achievements in income distribution, social security level, employment and entrepreneurship, educational financial investment, and breakthroughs in the establishment of a complete transportation system and environmental protection system as well as the promotions of medical and health service reform.
