Vice President
Professor Li Yupeng, born in May, 1977, is a national T2 Professor (of a four-tier system). She obtained her PhD in structural engineering from Washington University in St. Louis of the US. She is a member of National Overseas High-level Talent Project, a state-level distinguished expert, an expert receiving special allowance from the State Council, a high-level talent in Shenyang and an excellent scholar of Chi Epsilon in the US. Currently she is Vice President of Liaoning University, Deputy Director of National Special Computer Engineering Technology Research Center, Vice President of Association of Automation in Liaoning Province, a member of the Standing Committee of Equipment Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. She is also a member of the 14th CPPCC and a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC in Liaoning Province.
Her research fields are mainly reliability analysis and evaluation, reliability simulation technologies, high reliability and long life product design and reliability experiment of electronic connectors. She has presided over 10 projects on product development, advanced research and development, and reliability common technologies research in Intel in the US, thus winning an award of outstanding contribution in Intel Global TMG. She has also undertaken a number of national and provincial science and technology projects. She has published two monographs and nearly 40 core journals, including more than 20 SCI/EI English cores and more than 20 patents and enterprise inventions granted at home and abroad. As a team leader in the R&D group, she was received by General Secretary Xi Jinping in 2013.
