On June 26, 2024, the China-Belarus High-level President Forum was successfully held in Minsk National Library of Belarus. Professor Yu Miaojie, Deputy to the 14th National People’s Congress, member of the International Economics Association, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of Liaoning University was invited to attend the opening ceremony and plenary session. Ivanetz, Minister of Education of Belarus, Chen Jie, Deputy Minister of Education of China, Xie Xiaoyong, Ambassador of People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the Republic of Belarus, Hao Ping, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Peking University, Korol, President of Belarusian National University and Sergei Chizhik, First Vice President of Presidium of Belarusian National Academy of Sciences attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches. Presidents from about 40 universities in China and Belarus, including Peking University and Belarusian National University attended the forum.

Witnessed by the speakers, representatives of the Chinese and Belarusian universities signed the ‘China-Belarus Cooperation Initiative on Fundamental Science Research’. On behalf of Liaoning University, President Yu Miaojie signed a cooperation agreement with President Voitov of the Belarusian State University of Technology.
